The modest movement is not anything new, it was just overshadowed. It's been around for ages, across different cultures and communities. We have more in common with one another than we realize, and this includes our fashion choices and way of life. This "movement" is representative of that realization.
To us, modest dressing is about feeling elegant, confident, and boujee, as well as feeling a sense of peace and calm in an over-stimulated world.
It’s a common misconception that women who wear headscarves, or abayas aren’t being fashion-forward. Many brands have never truly understood the world of modest fashion. But that is changing now.

I believe that empowerment means being comfortable in your own skin and having the confidence to be yourself. It’s about wearing what you want, not what someone else tells you to wear.
While growing up, I remember seeing young girls wearing bland abayas over tight jeans and T-shirts. This made me realize that many girls didn't consider the abaya a fashion statement, but instead wore it as a social obligation and I wanted to change that.
I wanted to create a line of abayas that would inspire women to feel beautiful and confident in modest clothing and prove that you're not limited to black and grey outfits, there is so much to experiment and play around with.
